About the Role

We're looking for a Data Engineer / Developer with a mix of 60% data engineering and 40% software development responsibilities. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure solutions — with a strong focus on Python.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines, transformations, and integrations.
  • Develop and maintain backend services and applications in Python.
  • Work with teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver end-to-end features.
  • Optimize system performance, conduct testing, and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Collaborate with peers to ensure best practices in coding, architecture, and deployment.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong background in data engineering (ETL, data modeling, data architecture).
  • Proficient in Python and backend development.
  • Experience with software design principles and scalable architectures.
  • Familiarity with agile development practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Knowledge of modern data tools and frameworks.
