Solar Plant Engineer

About the role

Hansei Corporation is seeking an experienced Solar Plant Engineer to join our team in Maragondon, Cavite. As a Solar Plant Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the operation and maintenance of our state-of-the-art solar power generation facility. This full-time position will involve overseeing the efficient and reliable performance of our solar plant, ensuring maximum energy output and adherence to all relevant industry standards and regulations.

What you'll be doing

1. Monitoring and optimising the performance of solar panels, inverters, and other critical components of the solar plant
2. Conducting regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of the solar plant's electrical and mechanical systems
3. Identifying and troubleshooting any issues or malfunctions, and implementing appropriate corrective measures
4. Analysing energy production data and providing recommendations for improving overall efficiency
5. Liaising with the operations team and external stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and communication
6. Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
7. Providing technical support and training to the plant's operational staff

What we're looking for

1. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Civil Engineering or a related field
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of solar power generation facilities
3. Thorough understanding of solar power systems, including photovoltaic technology, power electronics, and grid integration
4. Proficiency in analysing and interpreting technical data, as well as developing and implementing maintenance strategies
5. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders
7. Familiarity with relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in the renewable energy industry
