Are you a Licensed Civil Engineer or QS with deep experience in the UK construction market? SPARE Global is looking for a Senior Pre-Construction Estimator to act as the commercial engine for a prominent UK Main Contractor. You will manage the financial lifecycle of large-scale commercial and residential refurbishments (£5m+ project values), working directly with UK-based Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial preparation of bids/tenders using NRM2 and SMM7 standards.
  • Perform detailed digital "Taking-Off" via Bluebeam or CostX.
  • Conduct risk assessments and manage Technical Queries (TQs).
  • Manage supply chain quotes and ensure compliance with UK tender documents.
  • Prepare and present cost submissions for Director-level review.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • Sector: Must have experience with UK Main Contractors
  • Technical: Mastery of Bluebeam, CostX, and MS Excel.
  • Language: Exceptional English communication skills (written and verbal).
