DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads and defines the appropriate Test Strategy for the project.
  • Participates in reviewing the business user and product requirements, and application design to ensure testability of the product.
  • Tracks and reports testing activities, including testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines, and others.
  • Ensures content and structure of all testing documents are documented and maintained.
  • Issues Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Certificate to signify or prove that the application is in defect-free status.
  • Performs Test Strategy and Test Cases Review.
  • Formulates and manages initiatives to increase the skills, quality & efficiency of the SQA team.
  • Leads the process standardization and/or improvement on SQA related tasks.
  • Manages SQA stage deployment and repositories.
  • Provides an accurate status report to the project manager.
  • Participates in SQA Task Estimation and Risk Analysis on Technical/Project Proposals.
  • Reviews the quality of the team deliverables and ensures team tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Leads SQA team for any SQA related tasks.
  • Oversees and manages all SQA deliverables for each project.
  • Performs screening and interviews for all SQA applicants.
  • Other job-related activities that may be assigned from time to time.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education – At least graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or any related course.

Related Work Experience – At least 4++ years of extensive experience in Software Quality Assurance.

  • Extensive experience in Test Cases Creation and Analysis
  • Extensive experience in Manual (black box, white box, etc.)
  • Extensive experience in Automated testing (Selenium Web driver, Test Complete, or desired tools).
  • Extensive experience in defect reporting and monitoring

Knowledge – In-depth knowledge in the following:

  • Extensive database skills mainly in MySQL. Another database server is a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge in programming languages like PHP and Java is a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of Agile Methodologies.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Php70, Php90,000.00 per month
