Generalist Animator

Role Purpose

We're looking for creative and detail-driven 2D/3D Animators to join our Clark-based team. This role blends artistry and technical skill, requiring a strong visual sense and the ability to produce animations optimized for LED systems. You'll transform creative briefs into compelling storyboards and polished final outputs while collaborating with directors, producers, and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce 2D and/or 3D animations for LED displays, gaming, and commercial projects.
• Develop clear, presentation-ready storyboards and concept visuals for client approval.
• Prepare deliverables optimized for LED systems (custom resolutions, loop logic, frame-accurate sync).
• Collaborate with the Creative Director, Producers, and Project Managers in Vietnam and Australia to meet deadlines and milestones.
• Follow studio standards for file naming, version control, and project documentation.
• Stay up to date with animation software and industry trends to ensure cutting-edge visuals and efficient workflows.

Skills & Experience

• Proven background in 2D and/or 3D animation (portfolio/reel required).
• Proficiency with industry-standard software: After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro.
• Hands-on experience with at least one 3D package (Blender, Maya, Cinema4D).
• Knowledge of rendering pipelines (Redshift, Octane, Arnold, or Cycles/Eevee).
• Strong storyboard design and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a creative team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently.

Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience in gaming, casino, entertainment, or OOH/experiential environments.
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine or Unity for real-time workflows.
• Skills in rigging, character animation, or Houdini FX.
• Experience with Substance 3D Painter/Designer or Quixel.
• Basic scripting knowledge (After Effects expressions, Python for DCCs).
• Audio editing/mixing for sync-driven projects.
