SUMMARY
As a Bookkeeper, you will have the chance to optimize workflow and company efficiency. This position has a great opportunity for individuals that want to grow with the company. Your success will be dependent on your willingness to learn and take on new challenges. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, payroll, reporting, and customer service. Attention to detail and exceptional communication skills are required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create monthly agreements and daily customer invoices.
- Collect payments and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks and ConnectWise.
- Accurately enter accounts payable and expenses.
- Process monthly vendor payroll.
- Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processing and reporting.
- Assist with payroll entry and allocation.
- Review and approve timesheets.
- Run payroll.
- Prepare source deductions for payment.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in financial records promptly.
- Perform general administrative functions and data entry.
- Respond to customer inquiries and requests either by phone or email.
- Triage and create tickets as necessary.
- Achieve and maintain a positive rapport with clients and staff.
- Show flexibility and willingness to accept new and different responsibilities as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- General bookkeeping and accounting knowledge.
- Accounts payable and receivable experience.
- Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability to identify and address discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Experience with MS Office applications and QuickBooks preferred.
- Experience in a Managed Services Provider or related industry is a plus.
- Experience with ConnectWise is an asset.
- Must be organized, self-motivated, and willing to adapt.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Should be willing to accept a long-term work-from-home arrangement.
- Should be amenable to a permanent night shift schedule
