Job Description: We are seeking a talented and creative Web Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, a deep understanding of user experience (UX) principles, and proficiency in modern web design tools and technologies. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive websites that align with our brand identity and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop website layouts, interfaces, and graphics based on project requirements.
  • Create responsive and mobile-friendly designs that enhance user experience across various devices.
  • Collaborate with developers, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive branding and functionality.
  • Use industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch) to create wireframes, prototypes, and final web designs.
  • Optimize website performance, usability, and accessibility.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Implement and maintain SEO best practices in web design.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Web Designer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or Sketch.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic knowledge of JavaScript.
  • Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and best practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills.
  • A portfolio showcasing previous web design projects is required.
  • Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, or Shopify is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO best practices.
