About the Role

This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing a portfolio of projects and programs that are critical to our company's strategic growth. As Project Director, you will not only manage key initiatives but also mentor a team of project managers, set best practices, and ensure all projects align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Oversight: Lead the execution of a portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term strategic goals.
  • Governance and Mentorship: Establish and enforce project management standards and methodologies. You'll also provide guidance and mentorship to our project management team.
  • Executive Reporting: Provide high-level, strategic updates to executive leadership on the overall health and status of the project portfolio.
  • Resource Management: Oversee the allocation of resources and budgets across multiple projects to maximize efficiency and impact.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and executives to ensure project success and buy-in.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive project and program management experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or director-level role.
  • Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage complex, large-scale initiatives. You should have a strategic mindset and expertise in portfolio management.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to build, inspire, and manage high-performing teams.
  • Preferred: A PMP or other advanced certifications (PgMP, PfMP) are a plus, but your extensive experience and a track record of successfully leading strategic programs are the primary qualifications for this role.
