Duties and Responsibilities:

· Inspect facilities for compliance with standards and determining methods to resolve any issue that may arise.

· Prepare reports of food quality status of all tests and inspections that have been conducted.

· Ensures that food product meets the standards set by both companies and regulatory authorities.

· Monitor and provide guidance to production personnel as required.

· Provide insight to improve processes and practices to ensure manufacturing quality is maintained while efficiency is optimized

· Review of GMP documents to ensure company processes comply

· Maintenance of Quality Assurance documentation

· Development of the standard measurements for processes to be compared against

· Inspection and testing of processes and procedures – taking measurements and comparing to predefined standard

· Investigation when measurements are found to deviate from standards

· Writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the manufacturing process

· Ensuring auditing and manufacturing documentation is kept up to date.

· Handles inventory control

· Oversee manufacturing and production process.

· Handles production staff training on quality procedures, protocols, and documentation

Job Qualification:

-Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Food Technology or equivalent

-1 year of experience in Food Quality Assurance is an advantage ( Fresh graduates are welcome )

· Must be knowledgeable about all food safety standards that are customary within the food industry and mandated by government regulations.

· Keen attention to detail

· Critical/logical thinking
