Procurement Representative

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and source supplies, tools, and services primarily from US vendors and online platforms.
  • Handle price comparisons, vendor negotiations, and purchase transactions.
  • Monitor delivery progress, follow up with vendors, and resolve shipping/delivery concerns.
  • Track and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Coordinate with logistics and warehouse/receiving teams to ensure accuracy of deliveries.
  • Document and report all purchases in alignment with company policies.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure reliability and quality.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong online shopping and browsing skills; comfortable with Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Staples, and similar platforms.
  • Knowledgeable in US-based suppliers, vendors, shipping, and delivery practices.
  • Excellent research, organization, and negotiation skills to find cost-effective solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong inventory tracking and reporting abilities.
  • Good communication skills (written & spoken English) to coordinate with US-based teams and suppliers.
  • Basic knowledge of procurement or inventory management systems/tools is a plus.
  • Strong sense of accountability, integrity, and discretion in handling company funds.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle urgent purchase requests.Preferred Background- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.
  • Familiarity with US business culture and time zones.
