MEPF Engineer

JOB SUMMARY

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation and coordination of Mechanical, electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems in construction projects, ensuring that all installations meet industry standards, project specifications and local regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specifications to ensure proper system integration in construction projects.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers for the procurement and installation of MEPF systems.
• Supervise on-site installation of MEPF systems to ensure they are in compliance with designs, standards, and safety protocols.
• Resolve technical issues that arise during construction related to MEPF systems.
• Ensure that all work is completed within the project timeline and budget.
• Conduct inspections and tests on MEPF systems to ensure proper functionality and safety.
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports, plans, and documentation related to MEPF systems.
• Provide regular updates to client, construction manager and management on the progress of MEPF installations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Must have at least 3 to 5 years of work experience in MEPF design and coordination in construction projects.
• Strong understanding of MEPF systems and their integration into construction projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or other MEP design software.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
