Inpatient Coder

We are currently looking for highly skilled and detail oriented
Inpatient Medical Coders/CDI Coder
to join our Pioneer team in Pasay City.

The ideal candidate must be a graduate of medical allied course and a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) with at least 1 year of experience in Inpatient coding. A strong understanding of ICD-10 and PCS coding is essential to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze medical records for accurate coding of diagnoses, procedures, and services based on ICD-10 and PCS standards.
• Ensure compliance with applicable coding guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation for accurate coding.
• Perform quality assurance checks to maintain coding accuracy and consistency.
• Assist in resolving coding-related denials and provide feedback to improve coding practices.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Must be graduate of any Medical Allied Course
• Must have active Coding License
• At least 1 year of experience in Inpatient medical coding or CDI
• Proficiency in ICD-10 and PCS coding systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance and documentation standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
