About the role

Honest Buck PC is seeking a talented US Senior Accountant to join our team in the Philippines. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting and financial services to our US-based clients. What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements, and other accounting reports for US-based clients.
  • Performing complex accounting tasks such as general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end/year-end closings
  • Collaborating with the broader accounting team to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing strategies to enhance the delivery of client services
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality and adherence to accounting standards and regulations

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Must have: A minimum of 3 years of experience in senior-level accounting roles with exposure to US-based clients
  • Must have: 3+ years of experience in using QBO, and experience working on multiple client accounts (US)
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
  • Proficiency in using MS Office applications
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • A customer-centric mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
