Job Description:

  • Assist the Head of Strategic Procurement in managing high-value and complex procurement projects (e.g., construction, ICT, renovations, and facilities management).
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to ensure the timely and successful execution of strategic procurement initiatives.
  • Assist in vendor selection, contract management, and project coordination to align procurement projects with university goals.
  • Monitor project progress and budgets, helping ensure procurement activities are completed on time and within budget.
  • Support the preparation of procurement reports, presentations, and project documentation for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Assist in sourcing suppliers for major procurement projects, including construction, ICT, and renovations.
  • Support the procurement process by collecting and preparing documents for vendor selection, contract negotiations, and approvals.
  • Coordinate with the Strategic Procurement team and other departments to ensure all procurement activities are aligned with university goals.
  • Ensure that all procurement activities comply with the university's procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Help identify risks and issues related to procurement projects and assist in mitigating them as directed by the Head of Strategic Procurement.
