Cost Control Engineer

Responsible in coordinating the cost control activities on multiple projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare project budget on multiple projects.

  1. Coordinate and monitor Site Cost Engineers in Cost and Planning Activities

  2. Collect and monitor closely the project daily / monthly accomplishment and end of month reports.

  3. Oversees site cost engineers in the timely submissions of Monthly Progress Billings and Collection

  4. Assist the Senior Civil Engineer in the Estimates and Bid Preparation

  5. See to it project cost control has been implemented on all project site

  6. Overall monitoring on all monthly progress payments / collection of billings in conjunction with CHQ Accounting

  7. Support the Assistant Engineering & Planning Manager in projects logistics to ensure all resources were delivered on schedule

  8. Coordinate with assistant EPM in the preparation of Materials and Procurement Schedule in order to monitor closely deliverables on site.

  9. Administer the monitoring of progress status of Variation / Change Orders and other claims outside project scope

  10. Coordinate with Site Cost Engineers in the preparation and monitoring of Cost to Complete / Forecasts

  11. May perform other duties as necessary or assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be a BS Civil Engineering Graduate; preferably a licensed engineer.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Required Skill(s): Bid Estimates, Cost Control, Project Scheduling, Cost Estimate, Quantity Surveying, Procurement, Conversant in MS Office, Familiar in Primavera or any planning tools and AutoCAD
  • Willing to work in Taysan, Batangas.
