As a Software Developer, you will design and develop high-quality healthcare software solutions while collaborating with a skilled, mission-driven team. You'll take part in building new applications, optimizing legacy systems, and ensuring secure, efficient code-all in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

The Qualifications We Seek

• 3-5 years of experience in software engineering, specifically in .NET or C# roles and Power Platform or Microsoft Dynamics
• Proven senior-level expertise and demonstrated leadership (not related to people management) in the end-to-end delivery of development projects
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like or React (nice to have)
• Strong skills in SQL and database design
• Experience working independently and collaboratively on software engineering projects
• Background in agile development environments
• Ability to quickly learn new skills or languages based on business needs

Your Daily Tasks

• Develop Applications: Design, code, and maintain software applications
• System Maintenance: Enhance existing systems to meet current business needs and NHS standards
• Code Quality: Uphold high standards through code reviews, testing, and best practices
• Collaborative Development: Work with other developers to design, develop, and implement new features and improvements
• Code optimisation: Refactor legacy code to improve performance, security, and maintainability
• Integration: Design and develop integration solutions to connect legacy systems with new applications
• Documentation: Create and update comprehensive documentation for both legacy and new systems
• Support Live Deployments: Provide technical assistance to the infrastructure team during out-of-hours deployments when required
