Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing Manila Support operations, ensuring efficient purchasing, coordination, and monitoring of all Manila-based transactions in alignment with provincial requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise Purchasing activities for Corporate, Department Store, Supermarket, Fresh Market, and Pier Receiving Operations.

· Oversee purchasing transactions, deliveries, and backloads.

· Monitor cargo movement, shipping transactions, and account approvals.

· Coordinate with shipping lines, accounting, and internal approvers.

· Ensure proper maintenance of all facilities, including staff houses, vehicles, and other assets.

· Responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations and ensuring the proper implementation of staff house rules and policies to maintain order, cleanliness, and a safe living environment.

· Conduct staff performance evaluations and recommend employment actions.

· Coordinate with the People Group on manpower, payroll, and benefits.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or any related field.

· At least 5 years of progressive experience in purchasing, logistics, or operations management, with 2–3 years in a supervisory or lead capacity.

· Strong knowledge of corporate purchasing, retail operations, supply chain management, and logistics/shipping coordination.

· Experience in coordinating with shipping lines, accounting teams, and internal approving authorities.

· Familiarity with facilities and vehicle maintenance administration.

· Excellent leadership skills with proven ability to manage teams, conduct performance evaluations, and recommend employment actions.

· Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.

· Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and sound decision-making skills.
