BEHAVIOR ABIUTIES:

1. 7-10 years' experience in infrastructure, with 5-7 years as Network Administrator. (Must Have)

2. Experience in Cisco network products, Security products (Palo Alto, Skybox, Checkpoint, Fortinet), Optimization and Load Balancing (F5, Riverbed) and Network Monitoring (SolarWinds). (Must Have)

3. Excellent troubleshooting skills and ready to engage in several engagements and consulting of internal as well as external customers.

4. Self-motivated, eager to learn in the IT profession.

5. Team player. Must be able to work with people within and outside of the IT department.

6. Nurture a culture of team excellence with openness, transparency, close collaboration, and a willingness to learn.

7. Customer service oriented.

8. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

9. English speaking is mandatory (French reading would be appreciated).

10. Ability to analyze and synthesize situations and understand the business constraints.

Job Description

Position Summary / Purpose and Objectives of the Rule

The entity ESSPI (Essilor Shared Services Philippines Inc.) is delivering IT Infrastructure services internally to Essilorlux ottica entities. ESSPI is looking for a Network Administrator to support the growing scope.

As a member of the Infrastructure Shared Services, the Network Administrator will represent his/her department towards the Business Units and project teams and will assure a determining role in the management, support, maintenance, implementation, administration and lifecycle management of network environments.

He/she will use his/her expertise for the level of escalation in case of incidents and for the contribution in the qualification of new solutions, assisting in the deployment. The role is providing day to day operational support for existing infrastructure services and users of those services, and for project-based work to the development and deployment of new infrastructure services.

This person must have deep knowledge in infrastructure technologies and in Network features, and must be able to lead, operate and continuously improve the environments distributed across 600+ remote locations throughout EUROPE, Asia, US, Latam and Canada.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintain under operational conditions the current and new network infrastructure and security solutions in respect of the Support processes.

2. Build, deploy and administer/manage the current and new network infrastructure (including WAN, LAN, WLAN and network services/vendors equipment's like NLB, Riverbed, Meraki, FS, Cisco ISE/NAC, Velocloud SD-WAN, SolarWinds) and security solutions (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Skybox)

3. Senior level of operational support on:

4. Troubleshooting, incidents and problem management,

5. Reporting and communication on activity, quality and performance of the network platforms and security solutions

6. Ensure appropriate documentation, including procedures for support.

7. Assist new implementations of all Network and Security Infrastructure components

8. Pro-active in ensuring stability, response time, operational consistency and life cycle over the network platforms and security solutions

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Contribute to search and qualification to new solutions.

2. Provide recommendations to the highest level of expertise teams.

Pay: Php65, Php80,000.00 per month
