? We're looking for a
Level 3 Infrastructure Specialist
to join our team and support our mission-critical systems. This is a senior-level role focused on maintaining high performance, availability, and security across a complex IT landscape.


What You'll Do:

  • Act as a
    Level 3 escalation point
    for infrastructure issues across servers, storage, and network environments.
  • Administer and optimize
    SAS platforms
    including
    SAS Grid, SAS Viya, SAS Studio
    , ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Manage infrastructure health through
    patching
    ,
    upgrades
    ,
    monitoring
    , and
    performance tuning
    across Linux and Windows servers.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues involving
    firewalls
    ,
    VPNs
    ,
    DNS
    ,
    routing
    , and
    load balancing
    .
  • Ensure secure, reliable connectivity between SAS servers and external data sources (databases, APIs, cloud).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including
    network engineers
    ,
    DBAs
    , and
    application developers
    .
  • Lead and support
    infrastructure projects
    ,
    cloud migrations
    , and
    compliance initiatives
    .
  • Mentor junior support teams and contribute to process improvements and RCA activities.


What You Bring:

  • Strong hands-on experience with
    SAS administration
    (Grid, Viya, Studio).
  • Deep knowledge of
    network protocols
    (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, routing, switching).
  • Proficiency in
    server administration
    (Linux & Windows) and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, or cloud).
  • Familiarity with
    cloud infrastructure
    (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hosting SAS in the cloud.
  • Expertise in
    storage management
    (SAN, NAS, NFS, CIFS).
  • Experience with ITIL-based processes for incident, change, and problem management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
