General Ledger Associate

Position Overview:
The General Ledger Associate plays a key role in maintaining accurate and compliant financial records. This position is responsible for managing general ledger activities, ensuring alignment with accounting standards, regulations, and client-specific policies.
Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger Management:
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger by performing balance sheet account reconciliations and clearings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Prepare and review balance sheet schedules.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support management decisions and enhance financial performance.
Process Improvement & Documentation:
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness in general ledger and tax-related functions.
- Develop and update documentation for accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to support compliance and audit readiness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in general ledger accounting.
- Solid understanding of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
- Proficient in accounting systems such as SAP and in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative mindset.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and professional integrity.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php16, Php20,000.00 per year
