An exciting opportunity exists for a highly skilled Global Third Party Risk Oversight Manager to join the Operational Resilience Oversight function. Reporting to the AVP, Operational Resilience Oversight, this role operates as part of the second line of defense, providing independent oversight of third-party risk management across global operations.

You will partner closely with first line business teams to ensure third-party risk management (TPRM) frameworks, controls, and governance are effectively embedded across the enterprise. This role plays a critical part in enhancing operational resilience, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and strengthening overall risk culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Third-Party Risk Management Framework and Standards.
  • Chair monthly TPRM Governance Forums, ensuring effective collaboration between first and second line stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze third-party risk metrics, identify potential breaches, and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Research and interpret regulatory requirements (including OSFI B-10 and E-21) and align frameworks with emerging best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Operational Risk, Compliance, Legal, Technology, and Operations to enhance oversight and manage change.
  • Partner with business continuity, crisis management, and disaster recovery teams to ensure holistic operational resilience oversight.
  • Develop and facilitate training programs on third-party risk management; track and report on participation and outcomes.
  • Champion a strong risk culture, promoting awareness of controls, governance, and operational resilience standards.

About You

  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in Operational Risk Management, ideally within financial services or insurance.
  • Expert knowledge of OSFI B-10 (Third Party Risk) and solid understanding of OSFI E-21 (Operational Risk & Resilience).
  • Demonstrated experience linking TPRM to business continuity, incident management, and disaster recovery.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across diverse business units.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Power BI or similar analytics tools is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree required; professional certification in risk management or related discipline preferred (e.g., ORM, CRISC, CTPRP).
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
