Position Overview

The General Ledger Associate is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial records. This role focuses on managing general ledger activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and client-specific policies, while also supporting process improvements and reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities

General Ledger Management

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger by monitoring, clearing, and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to address and resolve accounting discrepancies.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Prepare, review, and analyze balance sheet schedules.
  • Provide management with insights and recommendations derived from financial analysis to support efficiency and performance improvements.

Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization and best practices in general ledger and tax-related functions.
  • Create and maintain documentation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to support compliance and audit readiness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • 0–1 year of relevant experience in general ledger accounting is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Highly detail-oriented, accurate, and committed to integrity in financial reporting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php16, Php18,000.00 per month
