The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for implementing and communicating the brand's visual concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Define, design and implement a creative visual merchandising strategy
  • Create appealing and eye-catching visual displays
  • Produce window/kiosk displays, signs, interior displays, floor plans and special promotions displays
  • Implements brand specific visual merchandising standards
  • Ensure that the brand identity and presentation standards are achieved
  • Monitors implementation of visual merchandising standards per store
  • Liaise with suppliers and source elements
  • Oversee the production and brief staff on arranging displays
  • Monitor costs and work within budget
  • Act in alignment to the organization's culture, products, image and target market
  • Develop strong working relationship with internal and external partners, ensure visual direction is communicated and applied.

Qualifications:

  • Male/Female, bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communications, spatial design, interior design, retail management, or a related field.
  • Experienced in computer aided design such as Autodesk AutoCAD, Sketch Up and other rendering software
  • Experienced at using Adobe Creative Suite programs, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Sketch Up, or other visual design tools.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail
  • Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Comprehensive portfolio of relevant visual design work.
  • Willing to do field work.
