The Network Engineer is responsible for the continuous operation and performance of the enterprise network infrastructure and provides technical expertise in the day-to-day engineering of the company's LAN and WAN Infrastructure. He will need to be able to work directly with internet service providers, clients and/or other IT groups to troubleshoot outages both off-site and on-site and is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing of all LAN and WAN equipment at all office locations. This individual will also analyze and resolve network infrastructure problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide documentation and end user training when required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with course work in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a closely related field
  • At least 5-year experience in VoIP administration/design/support
  • Has advanced knowledge in Cisco routers, Cisco switches, Fortinet firewalls and other network-related technologies
  • Must have at least a CCNP Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferred but not required certification in FCNSP, FNCSE, and/or NSE4

• Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills
