About the Role

We're looking for a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Social Media Assistant to join our dynamic digital marketing team. If you live and breathe social media, love spotting the latest trends before they go mainstream, and have a genuine passion for content that inspires, entertains, and connects—especially within the lifestyle and hospitality space—this role is for you. As a key support across multiple accounts, you'll help manage daily social media operations, contribute to content creation, interact with our online communities, and collaborate closely with our creative and strategy teams to bring brand stories to life across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more. This is a hands-on opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where creativity and curiosity are valued.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and publishing content across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook using tools like Meta Business Suite.
  • Manage community engagement: respond to comments, messages, and Google reviews in a timely and brand-appropriate manner
  • Monitor trends, UGC, and influencer activity relevant to the hospitality and lifestyle industries
  • Support influencer collaborations and help coordinate campaign timelines and content calendars
  • Track key performance indicators and assist with monthly reporting and performance updates
  • Write clear, engaging captions and assist in content editing for various channels
  • Assist in organizing and managing digital assets, including basic graphic design and visual editing using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.

Competencies and Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in social media or digital marketing
  • Proficiency in Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and tools like Meta Business Suite
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to write effective captions and client updates
  • Basic graphic design or visual editing skills (Canva, Adobe Suite)
  • Awareness of current social trends, UGC best practices, and influencer culture
  • Experience with scheduling and analytics tools
  • Time management skills and ability to juggle tasks across multiple accounts

Nice-to-Have:

  • Portfolio showcasing social media posts, campaigns, or creative work
  • Degree or coursework in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Experience in ads (meta and Google) and a bit of basic website experience (WordPress)
  • Experience working with hospitality or lifestyle brands
