You will be working in leading a cross-functional team, using agile methodologies to build cloud native applications for the financial services industry.  You will contribute to CICD creating, configuring and deploying applications on the cloud.

  • Participate and contribute on all team activities such as sprint planning, daily scrums and retrospectives
  • Design and build solutions on AWS using Lambda, Dynamo DB, Bedrock, Textract, and Sagemaker
  • Experience in configuring and deploying CI/CD application on the cloud
  • Deliver and support highly scalable, high performance APIs within an agile development team
  • Ensure high code quality through automated unit and functional testing
  • Actively seek out knowledge about new technologies and how they can be used to solve current and foreseeable challenges
  • Developing DevOps Guru Pipelines is an asset

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Python / Flask / FastAPI
  • 2+ years of experience with React / Redux
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS
  • Experience with Docker
  • Experience with AWS services such as S3, ECS, Fargate, API Gateway, IAM, CFN
  • Experience with relational databases (ideally PostgreSQL or MySQL)
  • Experience with NoSql databases (ideally DynamoDB)
  • Experience with Natural Language Processing services like Amazon Textract is a plus.
  • Experience with LLM Models and GenAI Services like Amazon Bedrock is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience using AI in code generation and the development process
  • Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to enhance development efficiency and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience working on Agile teams
  • Solid understanding and demonstrated proficiency with core software development processes - debugging, code tuning, code management and branching, coding styles and refactoring
  • Must be self-motivated and driven, with strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated and driven, with demonstrated knowledge and skills in: Creativity, technical analysis, problem solving, communication and client service
  • Knowledge of financial industry is highly desirable
  • Amenable to work 2x Onsite and Midshift per week in Makati
  • Open to Project based employment (initial 6 months w/ possibility of extension based on your performance)
