About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Safety Engineer to join our growing team at Triton Constructions Development Corporation. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of our construction projects in Bacoor City, Cavite. As a Safety Engineer, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the highest standards of health and safety across our operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and training programs
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant local and national safety regulations and industry best practices
  • Investigating and reporting on any incidents or accidents, and taking corrective actions
  • Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to promote a strong safety culture
  • Providing expert guidance and advice to the construction team on safety-related matters
  • Maintaining detailed records and documentation to support the company's safety initiatives

What we're looking for

  • A licensed Mechanical Engineer or Civil Engineer with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a safety engineering role, preferably within the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, construction safety best practices, and risk management principles
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and identify innovative solutions
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement and the highest standards of safety
  • Proficient in using safety-related software and technologies
