Job Description

The Butcher is responsible for preparing, cutting, trimming, and packaging meat products according to company standards, food safety regulations, and customer requirements. This role ensures strict quality control, proper storage, and cleanliness in the work area while providing excellent service to both internal and external customers.

What You'll Do:

Meat Preparation & Processing
  • Cut, trim, debone, and portion meat according to specifications and production standards
  • Inspect meat products to ensure quality, freshness, and proper handling
Food Safety & Sanitation
  • Comply with all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
  • Wrap, label, and store meat products accurately and safely
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of preparation and storage areas
Equipment Handling
  • Operate and maintain meat-cutting tools and processing equipment
  • Follow company safety guidelines and standard operating procedures at all times
Inventory & Reporting
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory counting and reporting
Customer Service
  • Provide excellent customer service and share product knowledge when needed
