We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant with a focus on auditing to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. This position will be responsible for conducting various audits, including financial statement audits, internal control audits, and operational audits, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and operational processes.

Responsibilities:

Conducting Audits:

o Plan and execute audits of financial statements, internal controls, and operational processes.

o Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and assess risks.

o Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and make recommendations for improvement.

o Investigate and document audit findings.

o Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to management.

Accounts Receivable:

  • Invoice preparation and processing
  • Customer account reconciliations
  • Collection of outstanding debts
  • Accounts Payable:
  • Vendor invoice processing and payment
  • Vendor account reconciliations
  • Journal entries
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Account analysis
  • Financial Statement Preparation:
  • Prepare various financial reports for management
  • Risk Assessment:
  • Other Accounting Duties:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management Accounting, or a related field.
  • Years of relevant accounting experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of auditing standards and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong work ethic and a commitment to professional ethics.
  • CPA certification preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php Php550.00 per month
