What you'll be doing

  • Manage and coordinate the purchasing of all necessary goods and services for the hotels and resorts, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness
  • Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet operational demands
  • Liaise with suppliers to negotiate favourable terms, secure the best prices, and build strong relationships
  • Implement and oversee efficient stock control and inventory management systems
  • Analyses purchasing data and provide recommendations to improve processes and reduce costs
  • Supervise and mentor the purchasing team, providing guidance and training as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and industry regulations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the hospitality industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in inventory management and stock control
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to identify trends and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with relevant procurement-related software and systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
