The Junior Data Analyst plays a key role in supporting the Business Intelligence team by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to guide informed business decisions. This role focuses on creating insightful reports, dashboards, and visualizations that help stakeholders understand performance metrics and emerging business trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to uncover actionable insights.
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
  • Identify data patterns and trends to inform strategic business initiatives.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency by supporting data governance practices.
  • Conduct basic statistical analyses to highlight correlations and inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and clarify reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to the automation of data workflows and report generation.

Technical Skills:

  • Foundational knowledge of SQL for database querying.
  • Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau).
  • Strong Excel skills, including use of pivot tables, Power Query, VLOOKUP, and statistical functions.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of databases and basic data modeling concepts.
  • Domain expertise in Contact Centre Operations or a background in Customer Service/Collections is an asset.
