We're looking for an experienced Accounting Team Lead to oversee the daily bookkeeping operations of our ongoing team. You will ensure accuracy, maintain strong financial controls, and support the development and performance of your direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Bookkeeping Oversight

  • Monitor and oversee all daily bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, treasury tasks, and bank reconciliations
  • Perform and review key bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accurate and timely month-end close
  • Review month-end accounts and payroll entries
  • Organize and maintain accurate financial records and reports
  • Ensure the correctness and completeness of all financial recordings

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, coach, and mentor the team to support their growth and performance
  • Monitor staff performance, workload capacity, and skill capability
  • Allocate tasks and manage utilization across the team effectively
  • Recommend and support development plans for each team member
  • Reinforce compliance with company policies, processes, and expected behaviors

Process & Compliance Management

  • Establish, update, and maintain processes, procedures, and internal controls within the team
  • Ensure accounting controls, policies, and procedures align with company targets
  • Keep up to date with accounting standards, best practices, and new tools

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform ad hoc tasks related to accounts payable, treasury, and general accounting as needed

About You

You are an experienced accounting professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for driving accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy guiding a team to deliver high-quality financial outcomes.

You'll be a great fit if you have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA qualification (preferred)
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience, ideally in a BPO or offshoring environment
  • Strong background in project management, process improvement, and operational excellence
  • Experience using accounting software and exposure to end-to-end global bookkeeping processes (preferred)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • A proven ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Residence within Pampanga or nearby provinces
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid setup (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)
