1. Operations Management
- Supervise and coordinate daily dining floor activities to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Ensure that tables are properly set, orders are accurately taken, and food is served promptly.
- Monitor cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the dining area at all times.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of food orders.
- Manage inventory of dining supplies such as utensils, linens, condiments, and menus.
2. Staff Supervision and Training
- Oversee, schedule, and assign duties to waiters, bussers, and other dining personnel.
- Train and mentor staff on customer service standards, menu knowledge, and proper dining etiquette.
- Conduct regular briefings before service hours to communicate daily specials, promotions, and key updates.
- Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback or coaching as needed.
3. Customer Service
- Ensure guests receive exceptional service and address any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Promote a welcoming and friendly dining environment that enhances guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Handle special guest requests and assist in accommodating VIP or group reservations.
4. Compliance and Standards
- Ensure that all dining operations comply with company policies, food safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor employee grooming, attendance, and compliance with uniform standards.
- Support the implementation of promotional activities, events, and restaurant initiatives.
5. Reporting and Coordination
- Report operational issues, guest feedback, and staffing concerns to the Restaurant Manager.
- Assist in staff scheduling, attendance tracking, and performance evaluation.
- Participate in regular meetings to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree or vocational diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in food service or restaurant operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and service standards.
- Flexible to work on weekends, holidays, and shifting schedules.
