Job Summary:

The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's accounts payable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all supplier invoices, payments, and related financial activities. The role involves managing the accounts payable team, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the accounts payable team.

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of all invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments.

  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues.

  • Maintain and enforce AP policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.

  • Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating payment terms and resolving disputes.

  • Monitor and manage accounts payable aging reports.

  • Prepare and review reports related to accounts payable activities.

  • Assist with month-end closing, audits, and tax compliance.

  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in accounts payable or related finance roles.

  • Leadership experience managing an accounts payable team.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS Office.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
