The Accounting Staff is responsible for supporting the Finance and Accounting Department by

performing essential functions related to inventory management, intercompany transactions, and general

ledger reconciliation, and cashiering.

The role also includes assisting in the retirement or closure of branches by ensuring proper settlement

and documentation of financial records. This position requires strong attention to detail, sound

accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage financial transactions accurately and confidentially.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Inventory Reconciliation and Adjustments

  • Conduct regular inventory reconciliations between warehouse records and accounting books
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in stock balances in coordination with operations and logistics teams
  • Process approved inventory adjustments such as write-offs, losses, and corrections with complete documentation.
  • Participate in physical counts and help reconcile the results with the accounting records.

2. Fixed Asset Management

  • Maintain accurate and complete records of all company-owned fixed assets across Luzon branches and warehouses
  • Perform physical count, tag newly acquired assets, and update the fixes assets register with relevant details.
  • Reconcile count results with accounting records and report any variances or missing items.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation between the fixed asset subledger and general ledger accounts.
  • Investigate and correct any discrepancies or irregular balances.

3. Intercompany transaction

  • Perform regular reconciliations of intercompany balances across all subsidiaries
  • Prepare necessary adjusting entries for reconciling differences in timing and cost
  • Communicate with Operations/Accounting counterpart match and resolve intercompany transactions.

4. Month-end Closing

  • Participate in monthly closing activities by ensuring timely reconciliations, journal entries.

5. Collection and Deposit

  • Receive checks and documents all cash and check collections, remittances made by customers, collectors, and sales personnel

6. Administrative and other tasks

  • Process business retirement with LGUs for Luzon MO Branches
  • Participate in special projects and section plans
  • Duties that maybe assigned from time to time.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php19, Php21,000.00 per month
