The Assistant Marketing & Communication Manager manages the execution of the organisation's branding and marketing efforts across traditional and new media platforms to create positive customer engagement. He/She enhances the property's brand reputation and brand image consistency across all marketing channels and liaises with key stakeholders to develop marketing strategies and plans, leveraging market research and analyses to identify marketing opportunities, target markets, and marketing channels. He will be required to plan marketing campaigns and manage the execution of marketing and media-related activities and events in the Philippines.
His responsibilities include developing campaign design concepts and ideas, marketing collaterals, and measures to engage customers. He manages public communications as well, monitoring and responding to online comments, developing press releases and media kits, and drafting responses to media queries. His role at the management level includes managing department budget forecast and utilization and evaluating new technology applications to engage customers.
Resourceful and innovative, he leverages data analytics and other forms of business intelligence to identify guest trends, market trends, and major events and activities to develop successful marketing, digital marketing, and public relations programmes and initiatives. He works in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where he can lead the development of appealing marketing and digital concepts to promote the property. Develop market research plans and review research findings to support the development of marketing strategies and plans
Review potential target markets for market segmentation
Propose marketing channels to reach target customers and market segments
Liaise with key stakeholders to develop marketing strategies and plans
Assist in developing, implementing, promoting, and publicizing programmes and/or special events designed to attract and meet the needs of markets targeted by the Sales and Marketing DepartmentManage brand equity
Develop strategies to enhance brand reputation and achieve positive brand equity
Oversee website and social media content updates and monitoring
Manage marketing campaigns and events
Develop design concepts and ideas for marketing campaigns across traditional and digital platforms
Develop marketing campaign plans aligned with brand and marketing strategies
Conceptualize marketing collaterals according to themes and review editorial content, design layout, and printing specifications
Monitor production and distribution of marketing materials
Manage execution of campaigns and media-related activities and events
Develop measures to enhance customer experience across all touchpoints
Identify areas for improvement in future campaigns
Manage marketing communications and public relations
Coordinate media presence of company personnel to boost awareness and prestige
Act as liaison with the press to answer inquiries and secure media coverage
Attend media events and anniversaries for maximum outreach
Maintain relationships with Airport Authority, Tourism Board, and Travel OfficesManage human resources, finance, reporting, and continuous improvement
Review marketing reports to monitor achievements
Support departmental budget forecasting
Manage financial budgets according to work plans
Evaluate new technology applications to innovate customer engagement
Explore potential sales and marketing partnerships regionallyOthersEnsure all marketing communications comply with data protection legislation
Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned
