Overall Purpose of The Job

The role is responsible for supporting the Workforce Management Team in the recruitment and selection process of Cadet applicants, maintaining necessary reports, cost control and records including such in ShipSure.

The Cadet Administrator will also support the development of cadets on career development journey helping Cadet Planner to ensure delivery of an effective and efficient cadet management programme.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

• Supports the Global Cadet Programme Team with APRO testing, conducting TOSE and/or video conference interviews, and selection, debriefing and approval processes.
• Prepares cadet management related reports.
• Monitors cadet mobilisation and disembarkation processes and support mobilisation team to ensure full compliance with VMS and/or client requirements for fleet/vessels under their responsibility.
• Communicates with Planning, Mobilisation and Training teams and clients when required.
• Forwards claims and any payments to Payroll COE and support to Finance for cadet management related invoices.
• Assists responsible parties with onboard training control and post-signoff assessment of the onboard training outcome.
• Arranges graduate cadets to Assessment teams for promotion interviews.
• Maintains cadet records in ShipSure and support the ShipSure crewing data quality/integrity.
• Supports cadet management program budget and invoicing by forwarding invoices to Finance.
• Supports cadets for their documentation process during their college period.
• Assists with administration tasks of cadet induction, orientation and seminar arrangements.
