About the role

We are seeking a talented Chemist to join our dynamic team at Century Chemical Corporation. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for conducting complex chemical analyses and experiments to support the development of innovative products. Based in our state-of-the-art laboratory in Quezon City, Metro Manila, or in Bulacan, you will play a crucial part in driving the company's scientific and technological advancements.

What you'll be doing

  1. Perform a variety of qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses using advanced analytical instrumentation
  2. Design and execute experiments to investigate the properties, composition, and behaviour of chemical substances
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret data, troubleshoot issues, and develop solutions
  4. Document all procedures, observations, and findings in detailed reports
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of chemistry and physics
  6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory protocols and quality control measures

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline
  2. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Chemist in a laboratory setting
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail
  4. Proficient in the use of analytical instrumentation, such as spectroscopy, chromatography, and mass spectrometry
  5. Strong knowledge of chemical principles, experimental design, and data analysis
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with the team
  7. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
