We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed mechanical drawings and plans based on designs and specifications from engineers or project leads. You will use CAD software to draft precise technical documents for manufacturing and construction purposes, ensuring all designs meet industry standards and project requirements.

What You'll Do
  • Develop detailed 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks 2024
    Ensuring company drawings are prepared, checked and filed as per company procedures/instructions.
  • Prepare project drawings for fabrication including DXF profiles following company procedures and drafting standards.
  • Prepare product installation and operation manuals.
  • Responsible for ensuring drawings are filed correctly, including check prints, superseded and masters.
  • Effectively actioning feedback from the manager via model and drawing updates, respecting appropriate part numbers and dealing with modifications and revisions changes.
  • Manage and complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Analyze engineering specifications, sketches, and models to create accurate mechanical designs.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure drawings align with project goals.
  • Ensure all mechanical designs comply with relevant industry standards and company policies.
  • Maintain and organize design files and project documentation for future reference as per company procedures.
  • Assist in preparing project specifications, material lists, and other technical documentation.
  • Participate in design review meetings and provide feedback on potential improvements


Requirements What You Bring
 We're looking for someone who:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 3+ years of experience as a Mechanical Drafter or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and other related drafting programs.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting mechanical components.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to work effectively with team members.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Adobe suit - In Design, Photoshop and Illustrator are a plus
