Job Title: FS Compilation and Review Accountant (US)

Work Setup & Schedule:

  • Office-based (3PM to 12MN)

What you'll be doing:

  • Performs compilations and review for clients in various industries. Specialty in Health Care and Construction is a plus.
  • Effectively plan and execute reviewed and compiled financial statements with Partner/Manager assistance.
  • Project manages one or more client assignments simultaneously with effective use of project management techniques and organization of resources to ensure achievement of assignment objectives.
  • Performs a detailed self- review of work to ensure quality, thoroughness, and completion of assignment tasks within agreed timeframes.
  • Reviews trial balance and general ledgers for businesses.
  • Perform intermediate accounting and bookkeeping services.
  • Ensure complete satisfaction through open communication, managing expectations, meeting deadlines.
  • Proven track record of delivering quality work for demonstrating an understanding of the client's business and relevant professional standards.
  • Keep current on recent technical pronouncements in both accounting and generally accepted accounting principles.

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Audit experience is a plus
  • Experience in the Health Care (IL) or Construction (Mel) Industry is preferable
  • Experience reconciling account and financial data
  • Experience reviewing Financial Statements
  • Demonstrated technical abilities in accounting and generally accepted accounting principles
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present accounting concepts in a clear and concise manner to team and clients
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to problem-solve and think quickly, creatively, and logically.
