Japanese Chef

Must be willing to work in GREENHILLS MALL

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven 3+ years of work experience in a similar role, ideally within a Japanese restaurant or kitchen setting.
• Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine, with the ability to prepare traditional dishes such as but not limited to: sushi, sashimi, tempura, ramen, donburi, and other staples with commendable authenticity.
• Skilled in Food Preparation: Proficient in preparing, cooking, and presenting a wide range of dishes, ensuring high quality taste and presentation.
• Knowledgeable in food safety practices, hygiene & sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work area at all times.
• Familiarity with food costing and portion control.
• Comfortable working in various settings, including banquets, private events, and ala carte services.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Open, flexible, and willing to working various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on operational needs.
