About the role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to join our team at BW SUPERBAKESHOP-ELJIN' in Tarlac City, Tarlac. As a full-time Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the equipment and machinery used in our bakery operations. This is an essential role that plays a vital part in ensuring our production process runs smoothly and efficiently.

What you'll be doing

  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on all bakery equipment and machinery
  • Troubleshoot and repair any malfunctioning equipment in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with the production team to minimise downtime and maximise operational efficiency
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities
  • Comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Provide technical support and training to other members of the team as required

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an Engineering Technician or in a similar maintenance role, preferably within the food production industry
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and test equipment
  • Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment
