OVERVIEW

  • The selected candidate will design, develop, execute and maintain robust automated testing frameworks.
  • Job scope will mainly cover QA related work given by Japan, Singapore and Philippines office.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Automation and Testing

  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks using Playwright with Typescript/JavaScript.
  • Implement automated tests for Web UI (cross-browser and responsive testing) and RESTful APIs (functional, negative and contract testing)
  • Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality validation.
  • Ensure high test coverage, reliability and maintainability of automated test cases.
  • Work on Manual testing if no automation project available.
  • Prepare test reports.

API and backend Testing

  • Perform API Automation Testing using tools/frameworks such as SOAtest, Virtualize.
  • Validate API responses, schemas, performance and error handling.
  • Work closely with backend teams to test microservices and integrations.

Quality and Collaboration

  • Review requirements and designs to identify test scenarios early in the SDLC.
  • Perform code reviews for automation scripts and contribute to best practices.
  • Work closely with developers, DevOps and product teams to ensure quality goals are met.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay up to date with the latest development trends, technologies and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • At least 3 years of professional experience as Test Automation Engineer.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Playwright (at least 3 years).
  • Proficiency in Typescript and JavaScript. (at least 3 years).
  • Solid Experience in API Testing (REST, JSON, HTTP methods, authentication) (at least 3 years).
  • Good understanding of test automation and design patterns.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub, Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Strong experience in version control systems such as Git or similar versions.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC.
  • Experience with functional, regression, smoke and integration testing.
  • Ability to analyze logs, debug failures and identify root causes.
  • Given future growth opportunities, experience or a strong interest in financial business systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced development environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.

  • Onsite, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
