Job description:

Phoenix Water Solutions is looking for a highly driven and detail-oriented Sales & Marketing Manager to support our expanding team. This role combines strategic sales leadership with data-driven marketing execution—perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at process-building, and can turn insights into results.

You will work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing to align all sales and marketing efforts with company goals, support market expansion, and drive consistent revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Management

  • Create and deliver tailored proposals using pricing data, market analysis, and client needs.
  • Oversee the deal data management system, ensuring accuracy and seamless integration across platforms.
  • Develop and maintain dynamic lead lists for targeted market outreach.
  • Manage CRM systems to optimize team efficiency and client communication.
  • Conduct annual research to identify 100+ grant opportunities for projects and partnerships.
  • Oversee post-deal reviews to refine sales strategies and improve future performance.
  • Develop and implement onboarding and training systems for new sales team members, including scripts, follow-ups, and best practices.
  • Produce and present monthly sales reports that outline key metrics, trends, and strategic insights.
  • Coordinate logistics for trade shows to maximize brand presence and business development.

Marketing Management

  • Lead key marketing initiatives including campaign creation, audience segmentation, and performance analysis.
  • Manage and fully transition responsibilities from the current Scorpion contractor.
  • Utilize HubSpot to build databases, automate workflows, and track customer interactions.
  • Develop and execute B2B marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Create professional marketing materials such as case studies, whitepapers, pitch decks, and social media content.
  • Stay current with industry trends and adopt best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure all initiatives support broader company objectives.

Qualifications

  • 4-6+ years of combined experience in sales, marketing, account management, or business development, preferably in B2B or technical industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated success in data-driven marketing, campaign management, and developing effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and marketing performance data and translate insights into action.
  • Experience leading or growing a sales team, including training, process development, and performance management.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales/marketing tools such as HubSpot, ServiceTitan, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, copywriting, and negotiation skills, with the ability to produce high-quality content (e.g., proposals, case studies, portfolio materials).
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt strategies to evolving market conditions.
