What you'll be doing

  • Conducting site assessments and analysing project requirements to develop comprehensive engineering designs and plans

  • Preparing detailed reports, documentation and technical drawings to support project delivery
  • Identifying and addressing potential challenges or risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Continuously seeking ways to improve processes and implement innovative design solutions

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil Engineer, preferably in the retail or commercial construction industry
  • Proficient in the use of engineering software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and project management tools
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyse complex data and propose effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and liaise with stakeholders
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality work
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations and safety standards
