Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled On-Site Engineer to oversee and manage the execution of solar energy projects at project sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and quality completion of installation, compliance with design specifications, and seamless coordination among all stakeholders involved in the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Execution & Supervision:

  2. Oversee on-site execution of solar projects, including installation, testing, and commissioning.

  3. Ensure compliance with project designs, drawings, and technical specifications.
  4. Monitor construction schedules and progress to meet deadlines.

  5. Quality Assurance & Safety:

  6. Conduct quality checks on materials and workmanship to ensure adherence to standards.

  7. Enforce safety protocols and ensure the site is compliant with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  8. Coordination & Communication:

  9. Act as the primary point of contact between the site team and the project management team.

  10. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project operations.
  11. Report daily progress, issues, and resolutions to project managers.

  12. Technical Support:

  13. Provide technical guidance to the on-site team during installation and troubleshooting.

  14. Verify and approve on-site changes or adjustments in collaboration with the design and project teams.

  15. Documentation & Reporting:

  16. Maintain accurate records of project activities, materials usage, and site conditions.

  17. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. Educational Background:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

    • Experience:

    • 2-5 years of experience in on-site project management, preferably in solar EPC or renewable energy.

    • Hands-on experience in the installation and commissioning of solar PV systems is a plus.

    • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and layouts.

    • Working knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, and associated equipment.
    • Familiarity with project management tools and MS Office Suite.

    • Soft Skills:

    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
