JOB SUMMARY:

The MPS Consumables Specialist is responsible for the monitoring and management of any consumables (supplies and service parts) exceptions that occur daily in the system, with the goal of ensuring that MPS customers receive the right consumables at the right time, in accordance with their contract. They are also responsible for the day-to-day communications necessary to ensure effective and efficient operations in the Managed Print Services business.

The Consumables Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of Proactive Consumables Management services. This position is distinguished by its deep understanding of business processes and technical expertise in investigating printer-related issues. Responsibilities include conducting thorough technical investigations using tools such as the Device Research Tool, drafting recommendations to resolve identified issues, and coordinating with cross-functional teams for accurate diagnosis. Additionally, the Consumables Specialist leads and manages annual LEAN projects aimed at driving continuous process and operational improvements.

The Consumables Management Specialist reports directly to the Team Lead and collaborates closely with Lexmark teams in Cebu, geo operations, and global support groups. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate execution of worldwide Managed Print Services (MPS) standard processes related to Consumables Management.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Daily management of the alert log to ensure accuracy of alerts

• Daily analysis and management of MPS Consumables Management Service Requests that fall into exceptions and the resolution of these in accordance to worldwide standard processes and Service Level Agreement (SLA)

• Accurate and timely processing of orders requested through various tools or from onsite / customer-facing counterparts/ other MPS teams

• Daily analysis and management of orders that fall into exceptions and the resolution of these in accordance to worldwide standard processes and Service Level Agreements (SLA)

• Daily management of returns requested from various MPS teams in Cebu, or the geographies supported

• Generation, analysis, and management of reports using standard tools and practices

• Escalation of any system or process issue(s) experienced to the correct support group(s)

• Participation in continuous improvement activities or initiatives

COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

• Customer Focus - Strong ability to address customer issues promptly and professionally, adhere to global standards, and meet tight deadlines.

• Technical Skills - Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with Visio, Power BI, and Google applications preferred; typing speed of 38–40 WPM.

• Communication - Clear and effective written and verbal communication across global teams; active listening skills.

• Language & Documentation - Ability to interpret business processes and present information to leadership and stakeholders.

• Teamwork - Collaborative, adaptable, and able to build trust across diverse teams and cultures.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Accounting/Finance, or related field

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience

• Experience with computers, printers, and complex tools preferred

• Knowledge of LEAN principles and problem-solving methodologies is a plus.
