Finance and Business Manager
Finance and Business partnering
● Plan for start up and growth of the company for various investments in retail, real estate and F&B through strategic financial planning and support to the owner in business development
To help startup of the business working on day-to-day financial operations including treasury, support the outsourced accounting firm for the bookkeeping and BIR/tax reporting
● Cooperate with operations, marketing/sales teams to prepare and analyze budgets, and KPI's, projections
● Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, banking, and other accounting functions. Coordination with key stakeholders and third parties for timely collection and payments
● Facilitate information and cooperate with group headquarters financial reporting and analysis to senior management
● Supervise and coordinate the work of accounting and other business support functions (warehouse, sales, logistics)
● Implement financial policies and procedures, provide commercial support in negotiating for contracts conditions and payment terms
● Collaborate and support with owner in growth plans
HR support:
● Talent management - Assist the owner with recruitment and onboarding processes of key employees and consultants ensuring compliance with labor law; creation of HR handbook and act as document controller for main duties and policies of departments
● Support the outsourced payroll management process and administration of employee benefits and compensation programs (a firm will do these, not really the HR inhouse)
● Assist with performance management and employee relations and other confidential info, tie to incentives
Qualification:
● Bachelor's degree in finance, accountancy, business administration, management, audit, supply chain or a related field
● Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance and administrative management or as supervisor. For those only with individual contributor roles, applicants are welcome so long as have good team work skills.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English enable an efficient communication with all levels of the organization
● Strong understanding of people leadership, HR activities, experience in Performance management /incentive setting is a plus
● Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
● Excellent organizational, logic and problem-solving skills
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), financial software, data analysis tools and ERP system (preferably JDE), Google suite a must
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Strong ethical standards, confidentiality and integrity and self motivated
CMA or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred but not required. Must be able to have good understanding of proforma financial statements (cash flow, balance sheet, income statement)
