Fraud Risk Analytics Officer

Job Description

  • Develop and implement the fraud data analytics framework of the Bank that is aligned with the local and industry standards
  • Support the Fraud Risk Management Team in the assessment of fraud control requirements for the upcoming and existing Bank's products and processes
  • Supervise the overall fraud rule and authentication management by ensuring that the existing fraud rules and authentication models are performing effectively
  • Develop a fraud database for easier monitoring of fraud risk trends and fraud risk control activities
  • Collaborate with Technology Team in the delivery and deployment of fraud related system enhancements
  • Assist the Fraud Risk Management Lead in the enhancement and implementation of policies, specifically in establishing the Bank's fraud risk appetite and key risk metrics
  • Assist in preparing and providing fraud risk management reports, data, and documentation to internal and external stakeholders including regulators

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in fraud risk management within a bank setting
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Analytics, Statistics, Business or other related discipline
  • Working knowledge of SQL is a must-have
  • Structured, factual, and data-driven. Ability to deep dive into data and elaborate clear and synthetic insights
  • Problem-solving skills and positive constructive attitude is a must
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-intensity work environment
  • Proficiency in English written and verbal communication
  • Knowledge of Python or SAS is a plus
  • Experience in machine learning is a plus
  • Amenable to work in Ortigas, Mandaluyong City
