Sales Associate

Job description

The Sales Associate supports the execution of Pointer's sales strategies by assisting in customer engagement, account development, and coordination with internal and external partners. Working closely with the Sales Manager, the Sales Associate ensures efficient sales operations, supports new business acquisition, and helps maintain strong client and distributor relationships.

1. Sales Support & Account Coordination

· Assist in the rollout of sales strategies and account development plans created by the Sales Manager.

· Support lead generation, qualification, and tracking of prospective accounts.

· Help maintain updated records of customer and distributor information.

· Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely response to client and partner inquiries.

2. Customer Engagement & Product Presentation

· Assist in preparing and delivering product presentations and proposals to clients.

· Conduct follow-ups on quotations, feedback, and post-meeting action items.

· Help gather client feedback to inform the sales and product development teams.

· Respond to basic product or service-related questions from clients and escalate technical issues as needed.

3. Distributor & Partner Support

· Support the onboarding of new partners or accounts and assist in coordination with existing ones.

· Provide administrative support to the Sales Manager in managing distributor activities.

· Assist in organizing partner trainings, product updates, and sales enablement sessions.

· Join the Sales Manager and distributors in customer visits or sales calls as needed.

4. Business Development Assistance

· Help prepare sales documents including proposals, quotations, product brochures, and presentations.

· Coordinate meeting schedules between customers, distributors, and internal departments.

· Assist in monitoring sales pipelines and ensure proper documentation and follow-up.

· Contribute to the preparation of market analysis reports and sales forecasts.

5. Operational & After-Sales Coordination

· Follow up on order status, delivery schedules, and aftersales service activities.

· Liaise with the Operations and Technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

· Maintain documentation related to installations, project completion, and customer service.

6. Market Research & Reporting

· Collect information on competitor products, pricing, and promotional activities.

· Monitor market trends and customer preferences.

· Assist in preparing weekly sales reports and updates for internal review.

· Track key sales metrics and contribute to ongoing performance evaluations.

8. Ad-hoc Responsibilities:

· Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

· 1–3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or account coordination (technology-related field is a plus).

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Basic knowledge of Pointer's product offerings or willingness to learn. (Electronic Security Systems)

· Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office.

· Team player with a customer-first mindset.

· Strong interest in technology and engineering solutions.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Able to travel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php23, Php30,000.00 per month
